Terms and Conditions

Hockeywishes is a national campaign of the National League.

1. conditions of participation

Participation on the ‘Hockeywishes’ platform is free of charge. Participation takes place by registering with ‘Hockeywishes’ and agreeing to these GTC by activating the checkbox in the ‘Registration form’ section.

The prerequisite for successful participation in ‘Hockeywishes’ is the complete and correct provision of the necessary participation data in the electronic registration form.

Only participants whose complete, correct data has been entered can take part in the wish fulfilment.

Participation is only possible in one's own name. Each participant may only participate once per wish. Multiple entries will result in exclusion. The same applies if incorrect or third-party data is entered.

2. participation data

Please note that you must provide at least your first name, surname and email address when taking part. The data required to carry out and process the fulfilment of the request will be collected and stored by the National League in accordance with the statutory provisions. For details, please refer to the data protection provisions (section 8 below)

3. authorised participants

Only natural persons resident in Switzerland who have reached the age of 14 at the time of registration are eligible to participate.

4. wish fulfilment

The winners will be notified by e-mail about the fulfilment of their wish. The right to win the wish is personal and cannot be assigned to third parties.

5. measures in the event of disruptions to the prize draw process

The Organiser reserves the right to modify, cancel or terminate the Platform at any time without prior notice for objective reasons. An objective reason exists in particular if the platform cannot (or can no longer) run as planned (e.g. if computers are infected with viruses, in the event of software or hardware errors or for other technical, factual or legal reasons that hinder the administration, security, integrity or regular and orderly execution). The Organiser shall decide at its own discretion whether ‘Hockeywishes’ can be continued in a modified form or whether a cancellation or premature termination is appropriate.

6. Legal action and correspondence

Legal recourse is excluded.

The legal assertion of a wish is also excluded.

Participation in ‘Hockeywishes’ does not give rise to any legal claim to the fulfilment of a wish. There is also no enforceable claim to the payment of a wish that has been won. No correspondence will be entered into regarding ‘Hockeywishes’ and the individual wishes.

7. liability

Given the current state of technology, data communication via the Internet cannot be guaranteed to be error-free at all times. The organiser is therefore not liable for the constant and uninterrupted availability of the online systems it uses, nor for technical and electronic errors of an Internet service over which it has no influence, in particular not for disruptions such as the loss, delay, alteration, manipulation or misdirection of e-mails caused by external data networks, external telephone lines or other hardware or software of the participants or third parties. The same applies to disruptions with regard to the input, recording, transmission and storage of data, in particular also to incorrect, missing, interrupted, deleted or defective data records. Furthermore, no liability is assumed if e-mails or data entries (in masks of the ‘Hockeywishes’ platform) do not meet the requirements set out there and are consequently not accepted or accepted by the system.

The organiser is also not liable in the event of theft or destruction of the systems or storage media storing the data. The same applies to the unauthorised modification or manipulation of data by participants or third parties.

8. data protection

The participant expressly agrees that his/her details will only be used by the National League as part of the ‘Hockeywishes’ project (notification of winnings or announcement of new favourite categories or games and if ‘Hockeywishes’ content is part of the National League newsletter). The data will not be passed on or used for market research or advertising purposes. The data will only be stored by the National League for as long as is necessary under this agreement in compliance with applicable law. The guidelines for the processing of personal data in accordance with the Swiss Data Protection Act are complied with. Data Protection Act are complied with.

9. final provisions

Should a provision of the conditions of participation be or become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.

The ‘Hockeywishes’ platform is subject exclusively to Swiss law.

Any disputes arising from the use of the ‘Hockeywishes’ platform or from any related requests shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of BERN.
